SORRY, NO PAINT BOXES AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. PLEASE CHECK BACK. TINY, POLISHED TIN, PAINT BOX THAT HOLDS 18 COLORS OF WATERCOLOR OR GOUACHE PAINT! GREAT, INEXPENSIVE AND UNIQUE GIFT FOR ANY ARTIST! Some of my customers have used my paint box for cosmetics. These little boxes are often called travel or field boxes because they are small and can be easily carried in a pocket or purse. I've never seen one this small that held so many colors, however. I'm an artist and this is the result of a product I wanted that didn't exist. I had seen small paint boxes made out of Altoid boxes, but they didn't hold many colors...it seemed that too much of the space inside was wasted. I wanted a box at least that small and to be able to use all of the available space to hold more colors. I came up with an idea...found what I needed...and my husband made it for me. I love it so much I thought other artists might want one as well. I don't just use mine as a field box....I use it all the time! Most of my small watercolor and gouache works were painted from mine...including all of my ACEOs. There are so many holes for paint that I fill mine with part watercolor and part gouache. The holes are big enough that I only fill them half full of paint and it lasts through many paintings! THE SIZE OF THIS LITTLE JEWEL IS 2.5 INCHES BY 3.75 INCHES AND JUST OVER 3/4 INCH TALL. THE HOLES ARE 1/2 INCH SQUARE AND 1/2 INCH DEEP..... PLENTY OF ROOM FOR YOUR OWN PROFESSIONAL WATERCOLOR OR GOUACHE PAINT! THE HINGED LID CAN BE USED AS A PALETTE. THE INSERT THAT HOLDS THE PAINT IS HARD, WHITE PLASTIC AND WON'T FALL OUT IF THE BOX IS ACCIDENTALLY TURNED OVER. SEVERAL ARTISTS HAVE ASKED ME IF THEY SHOULD DO ANYTHING TO THE INSIDE OF THE LID TO USE IT AS A PALETTE. SOME HAVE SAID THEY INTEND TO SPRAY IT WITH WHITE ENAMEL OR POLYURETHANE. I USE MINE JUST AS IT IS AND WIPE IT OUT WHEN I'M FINISHED. IT HAS WORKED VERY WELL FOR ME SO FAR. EVEN THOUGH I WOULD LIKE FOR THIS PRODUCT TO ALWAYS BE PERFECT, THERE MAY BE A FEW MINOR SCRATCHES IN SOME OF THE BOXES. IF THERE ARE, THEY CAME TO US THAT WAY...WHICH CAN'T BE AVOIDED. WE TAKE THE UTMOST CARE IN MAKING THE FINAL PRODUCT. THEY ARE VERY STURDY LITTLE BOXES AND SERVE THE INTENDED PURPOSE VERY WELL. SORRY, NO PAINT BOXES AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. PLEASE CHECK BACK.
